| Q. Does Zamage put any finish on the media (paper or canvas) once it is printed? |
| All Zamage Giclée prints are treated with a special coating to give them further protection against moisture and abrasion, and in the long term against cracking and mildew. The coating also gives greater elasticity to canvas so it can be stretched more effectively. |

| Q. What is average life span of a Zamage Giclée print? |
All colors will fade over time, but as far as Giclée prints are concerned, some original watercolors will fade faster than a well-produced Giclée. Predicted display life depends on many variables including lighting conditions the quality of the paper or canvas on which the image is printed. Giclée prints, made with wide-gamut pigmented inks, are estimated by Wilhelm Research Institute to last over 120 years without noticeable fade.
PLEASE NOTE: All of our testing information comes from independent testing labs and the manufacturers of the materials we use. Please be advised that Zamage Digital Imaging, Corp. will not be responsible for any damage to our Giclée prints as a result of improper handling or from environmental conditions such as moisture, heat and light. |

| Q. Do you provide scans of original paintings? |
| While we prefer to work from 35mm slides or "4"x"5" transparencies for original Fine Art reproductions, Zamage can facilitate the complete process from hi-resolution scanning through to Fine Art framing. |

| Q. Can I approve the proof of the print before it is reproduced? |
| Yes. In our reproduction process, Zamage will first create a color proof, usually at a reduced size, printed on the actual media that will be used for the final reproduction. We evaluate this proof compared to the transparency, photograph or original artwork, and if there is significant variance in color, we perform additional color corrections and reprint the proof. This proof is then presented to the artist for evaluation and approval. The artist either approves the proof as is, or requests additional corrections. If corrections are requested, we perform them and provide another proof, and this process continues until the artist is satisfied with the intended output. |

| Q. What happens when several stages of correction are needed? |
| The need for additional corrections and proofs depends on many factors and is often difficult to predict. Some artists and photographers are more particular about precise color matching than others, and some original artworks use colors that are very difficult, if not impossible, to accurately reproduce. Some colors are more difficult to achieve on certain media, and some colors don't scan or photograph accurately, which in turn requires more work to correct. Because of our confidence in our skill and equipment, however, it is our policy to charge no money until the final proof is accepted.
